Ventilation Services
Whether for commercial, residential or industrial buildings, Hotchkiss provides all aspects of a ductwork ventilation package, from start to finish. We develop, detail, manufacture, deliver, install, insulate, test and commission systems of varying complexities and sizes. Our dedicated team of trained and experienced engineers select, procure, install and commission all package-related plant and equipment, from air handling units, fans, dampers and attenuators to grilles and plenums.

Prefabrication
From typical pre-assembled items to bespoke, large-scale modules, when clients choose Hotchkiss for prefabricated ductwork, we handle every step of the process from development, detail and manufacture to testing, delivery and installation. We also accommodate other interfacing trades within our production facility in Eastbourne, such as insulation and controls specialists.
From plantrooms to risers, including plant arrangements and fit-out modules, we detail and develop pre-assembled arrangements which provide our clients in London and across the UK with solutions to any design and buildability challenge.
Service
Building Information Modelling (BIM)
We produce 3D ductwork drawings and combine them with the drawings of other M&E trades, along with architectural and structural drawings, to create models which can be integrated within the structure. The addition of digital information for component parts was a natural progression for our drawing production and, as such, Hotchkiss is fully compliant with the requirements of client BIM execution plans to achieve BIM Level 2, in both Revit and CADDuct (AutoCAD).

Computer Aided Design & Manufacture (CAD/CAM)
Hotchkiss CADCAM is the total production solution that incorporates all the features necessary to efficiently control the manufacturing of ductwork components. From our extensive fittings database through to automatic nesting and management information, Hotchkiss CADCAM provides the necessary tools to meet manufacturing deadlines and improve productivity.
We directly download 3D drawings from the CAD office to the manufacture process, automated coil line and plasma cutting machines for all rectangular ductwork. This significantly accelerates our production capabilities.

Fire Resisting Products and Services
As part of Grob Group, we also offer numerous fire resisting products and services across London and the UK through our subsidiary company, Fire Protection Ltd. All of these products have been successfully tested, to the relevant European Standards, and help to ensure the safe evacuation of occupants and access for fire-fighting services.
