The design of this unique, 11-storey building comprises of more than 1 million square feet of space, of which approximately 7,000 Google employees will occupy 650,000 square feet. The building will also include a swimming pool, running trail, football pitches and basketball courts.
Scope
The Hotchkiss scope here was to manage the full airside shell and core package. This included the supply, delivery and installation of all the ductwork, major plant and associated equipment from basement level 2 to the level-11truss plant room, inclusive of air balancing and commissioning. Also included were the basement smoke extract damper control system and firefighting lift lobby works, which were supplied, delivered, tested and commissioned.
