This project provided 32,500m² of flat floor, column-free, world-class exhibition and conference hall space, extending the previous Phase 1 project. Central panels were installed in the roof to flood the exhibition space with natural light.
Scope
The Hotchkiss scope for ExCel Phase 2 was to manage the ventilation package, inclusive of air balancing and commissioning. This included the manufacture, supply and installation of all ductwork systems (including the kitchen extracts) and associated thermal insulation.Hotchkiss also procured and installed attenuators, grilles, fans and dampers.Also included was the fire-fighting stair lobby package which we delivered, tested and commissioned.
Hotchkiss was also contracted on the Phase1 development and were engaged in a similar fashion.
