Intended to push the boundaries of sustainable office design, this project achieved a BREEAM score of 98.5% - the highest design-stage score ever achieved by any major office development. This new European headquarters for the 4,000 London-based employees of Bloomberg serves as a reminder of Hotchkiss’s commitment towards sustainable construction.
Scope
Hotchkiss managed the complete airside installation of the ductwork and the shell and core fit-out, as well as the main roof plant, with office areas serviced by fan coils. We also undertook works on the primary office area, with retail space on the ground floor and a new entrance to Bank underground station.
