Terminal 5 Heathrow Airport

The Terminal 5 Project has three main areas of work for Hotchkiss.

The first is the 87m high Control Tower where the main cab was pre-assembled in a separate part of the airport, then transported to its final position and jacked up to its full height. Secondly, Building B is the link between the main terminal and the aircraft. Thirdly, Building A (pictured) is the main terminal building.

Hotchkiss has worked as part of the integrated 1st Tier team from the early days developing the design, assisting with the procurement of plant and delivering and installing the air systems, including all fire resistant duct systems, thermal insulation, commissioning and procurement of all in-duct equipment and fire duct.

Hotchkiss Ltd has also worked on the Energy Centre, TTS (Trans Track System), RTS (Rail Track & Stations) and multi storey car park 5.
