Nicknamed the gherkin, perhaps inappropriately for the prestigious new Swiss Re headquarters in St. Mary Axe, the second tallest building in the square mile. It comprises 40 floors, topped with a glazed dome housing executive restaurants. The building is radical – technically, architecturally and spatially - and is unlike any conceived so far.
Hotchkiss manufactured and installed the GSS and fire rated ductwork for the main Shell & Core areas as well as fitting out 15 of the lower floors and completing the dining and meeting room areas at the top of the building.
